Am J Obstet Gynecol. 2007 Nov;197(5):e6-7. doi: 10.1016/j.ajog.2007.08.024.

Abstract

We report a case of intrauterine fetal death at term with a possible association to an oral bacterium, Rothia dentocariosa. A healthy primiparous woman was admitted at term with an intrauterine fetal death after an uncomplicated pregnancy. R. dentocariosa was found in the fetal blood culture.
