Permethrin 5%, topical overnight administration, on days 1 and 8

Crusted scabies

Both permethrin 5% each 2-3 days and ivermectin (200 µg /kg/dose) x 3 weekly doses if limited, up to seven doses over 4 weeks if recalcitrant/extensive

 

Close contact

Permethrin 5% topical overnight, once

Endemic community

Multifaceted approach with education, community involvement, facilitation of washing, permethrin 5% on days 1 and 8
