Dr. Kuo is a graduate of National Taiwan University (NTU) and performed his internship in the NTU Hospital.  He performed internal medicine and infectious disease specialty training in Taipei Veterans General Hospital.  He is the attending physician and assistant investigator at National Health Research Institutes.  His research interest is mainly on clinical microbiology of resistant pathogens.  He is also the author of many population-based papers on antibiotic use and infectious diseases.
