Paola Scagni, M.D., is a graduate of the University School of Medicine in Turin (Italy). She performed her internship in internal medicine at Turin (Italy) and Lausanne (Switzerland) University Hospitals and completed her residency and fellowship in pediatrics and hematology at the University Children’s Hospital in Turin.  She was a recognized specialist in Pediatrics at the University School of Medicine in Turin. She obtained a Ph.D. in Pediatric Pharmacology and Therapy from the University School of Medicine in  Milan (Italy). She served as pediatrician in the Department of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology of the University of Turin. She currently works as clinical pediatrician in the Department of Pediatrics of Regina Margherita Children’s Hospital in Turin.  She is a member of the Italian Society of Pediatricians.  Her main areas of clinical and research interests include pediatric hematology and pediatric infectious diseases.
