Dr. Henderson served as an Associate veterinarian in an equine practice from 1999-2005.  She is currently working as a guest researcher/ORISE fellow—CDC/NCZVED/DVRD/Poxvirus and Rabies Branch, Rabies program (December, 2007-April, 2009).  She has accepted a position as an epidemiologist for the Georgia Department of Human Resources, Division of Public Health District 4.
