Greg Gray is the Director of the University of Iowa’s Center for Emerging Infectious Diseases, a Professor of Epidemiology in the University of Iowa’s College of Public Health, and a Professor in International Programs.  He is a fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and a recipient of the College of Public Health Faculty Teaching and Research awards. He has conducted epidemiological studies of emerging pathogens and tropical infectious diseases in the United States, South America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. He is currently collaborating with numerous international partners in conducting infectious disease research in the United States, Mongolia, Cambodia, Thailand, Romania, Australia, Nigeria, and Cameroon. He has authored 140 publications in the peer-reviewed medical literature.
