Dr. Arnold is a graduate of the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine. She completed her residency in pediatrics and fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases at the University of Toronto, Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  She completed a Masters of Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Toronto.

Her areas of research interest include inappropriate antibiotic use in the community and hospital settings.  She has also developed an interest in pediatric methicillin-resistant S. aureus infection including osteomyelitis. 

She is currently an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center where she is actively involved in clinical care, research and teaching in pediatric infectious diseases.
