Dr. Czachor graduated from Wright State University School of Medicine in 1983 and completed his internship at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida.  He then finished his Internal Medicine residency and chief residency at Wright State University Affiliated Hospitals.  He continued his training as a fellow in Infectious Diseases at St. Vincent's Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts under the University of Massachusetts Medical School.  Upon completion, he returned to Wright State in 1989 as a full-time faculty member in the department of Internal Medicine where he currently holds the rank of Professor of Medicine and is the Executive Vice Chair of Internal Medicine and Clinical Affairs, as well as the Division Director of Infectious Diseases.  Dr Czachor is a fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), the Infectious Diseases Society of America (FIDSA), and the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (FSHEA).  Dr Czachor received the Master Teacher Award from the Ohio ACP in 2003 and the Outstanding Alumni Award from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in 2006.
