Dr. Monto Ho is Emeritus Professor at the University of Pittsburgh. He is former chairman of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology and former chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Pittsburgh and Director of the Division of Clinical Research at the National Health Research Institutes in Taiwan. Dr. Ho played a pioneering role in the discovery of interferon and is a world authority on cytomegalovirus infection.  His autobiography has been published: Several Worlds: Reminiscences and Reflections of a Chinese-American Physician.
